Dr. Cesaro, what is the founding philosophy contained in your company claim?
“Caring well, living better”, this is the recurring leitmotiv in a Center that, in these 20 years of life, has invested heavily in technological innovation, becoming one of the first in Italy in terms of modern machinery and diagnostic equipment. An excellence guaranteed also by a highly qualified medical team, with an excellent medical-scientific profile and proven professionalism, which takes care of the care and reception of an increasingly demanding and informed patient every day, who is projected into an efficient reality where its needs revolve in the center.
What is your vision?
Centro Igea wants to offer itself more and more as a structure of excellence able to support the action of public health, without wanting to replace it but integrating it and contributing to the welfare welfare of the people of Campania. And to celebrate the first twenty years of activity, the structure has decided to invest further in a territory with great potential and growing needs for health and well-being; to strengthen, besides diagnostic assistance, also the research sector, to confirm itself more and more as a leading reality in scientific knowledge. Starting from the primary objective of raising public awareness on the importance of early diagnosis, especially in the oncology field, every year, for example, it reserves particular attention to the “May of women”, a month notoriously dedicated to the fight against breast cancer, offering free visits made by expert senologists.
The Center wanted to celebrate the first twenty years of activity by purchasing another important technological device: LA 3 TESLA. What is it?
Of a latest generation machinery which, compared to the Magnetic Resonances currently present in Italy, allows a significant improvement of the information content of the images, allowing to investigate the biochemical substrate of the pathological conditions for a better diagnostic and prognostic evaluation of patients.
