What does it mean today to lead a company like Galliera Costruzioni?
Leading a company with such a long history means being aware of the responsibility you inherit. Each generation must preserve what has been built in the past while projecting it into the future. For us, this means maintaining our founding values—professionalism, reliability, and attention to the local area—while also interpreting a sector that has changed profoundly in recent years. Today, construction requires advanced technical skills, organizational capabilities, and a much broader strategic vision than in the past.

What has been the key to the company’s growth over time?
Continuity combined with the ability to evolve. Over the years, we have taken on increasingly complex and diverse projects, from civil construction to infrastructure works. This has been possible thanks to a prudent entrepreneurial approach that remains open to innovation, with constant investment in work quality, staff training, and company organization, without ever losing our connection to the territory we come from.

Galliera Costruzioni operates in both the public and private sectors. What are the main challenges of this balance?
They are very different fields. The public sector requires regulatory rigor, transparency, and strong administrative management skills, while the private sector demands quick decision-making, flexibility, and project customization. Our challenge is to integrate these approaches while always maintaining high quality and reliability—an equilibrium built through experience, a strong work culture, and consolidated organizational methods.

What role do innovation and safety play in a construction company today?
They are central aspects. Innovation does not only concern technologies or materials, but also process organization and site management. At the same time, safety is an essential value: it means protecting the people who work with us and ensuring the quality of the projects we deliver. The SOA certification we hold is a testament to our commitment to maintaining high standards in technical expertise and reliability.

Your company is very active in the social life of the local area. How important is this aspect?
It is fundamental for us. A company cannot be limited to its economic dimension; it must also have a responsibility toward the community in which it operates. Over the years, we have supported sports associations, cultural initiatives, and social projects because we believe that economic and social development must go hand in hand. It is a way of giving back to the territory part of what we have received.

Looking ahead, what direction do you see for the construction sector?
The sector is undergoing a significant transformation. Topics such as environmental sustainability, technological innovation, and efficient resource management are now central. The challenge for a company like ours is to grow while maintaining a balance between consolidated experience and innovation, navigating regulatory complexity and participating in infrastructure projects on a regional and national scale. The future will reward companies capable of combining technical expertise, organizational strength, and a long-term entrepreneurial vision.

There are companies that grow together with the territory in which they are born.
