The importance of “business in common”

0

In what direction is the world of work moving in the era of the new economy and digital transformation? This is explained by Domenico Bocchetti of Area Imprese Network

In the era of the new economy and the digital transformation, the peculiar figure of the “individualist” entrepreneur was almost totally alternated by working groups organized on the concept of “business networks”. They represent a juridical-economic instrument of cooperation between companies that, through the signing of a specific contract, mutually undertake, in implementation of a common program, to collaborate in forms and areas related to their activities, exchanging information and services of an industrial nature, commercial or technological and jointly realizing certain activities pertaining to the object of each company. “The purpose of the network is to identify itself with the objective of following an increasingly globalized market, and consequently with the need to increase, individually and collectively, the innovative capacity and competitiveness of the participating companies, leveraging the introduction of horizontal technologies and sharing of knowledge and strategic resources “, Domenico Bocchetti, well-known accountant of Area Imprese Network, as well as Auditor, Technical Consultant of the Court and Bankruptcy Trustee.

Dott. Bocchetti, what advantages does this legal instrument offer to companies or professionals?

Introduced in the Italian legal system by Law n. 33 of 9 April 2009, the business networks allow small and medium-sized enterprises to overcome the obstacles deriving from their dimensional limits and reach a critical mass to compete globally, in international contexts, safeguarding their individuality. They are, therefore, a legal instrument that generates value for the participating companies that, through collaboration on the net with other companies, can achieve ambitious development objectives, much higher than those that they would be able to pursue by acting alone, optimizing resources and skills and squeezing management costs. A transversal institute capable of combining different features both territorially and technically, starting precisely from the “low”, that is, from common needs of more conscious development and proposition in increasingly saturated markets. “Together we grow better”, favoring the innovation of companies and their coordination to provide customers with services and works that require the most different technologies.

It can therefore be said that the world of business consulting is experiencing a moment of radical metamorphosis: new and urgent needs of a clientele grappling with an unprecedented economic crisis, irremediably weigh on those offering professional services. How?

Nowadays, more and more customers, often, are convinced that their company needs a global consultancy, able to untangle itself in the myriad of obligations with exceptional versatility and competence. The professional world, for its part, has not adapted to this condition, looking for a “professional specificity”, difficult to combine with the varied and articulated needs of its customers.

In this context, Area Imprese Network has been able to stand out. What are its strengths?

Experience and professionalism: these are the distinctive features of a complex, articulated and complete Group, a leader in providing economic, financial and legal advice to micro and medium-sized companies. A team to entrust all the most delicate aspects of business management, from accounting to relationships with banks, customers and suppliers. The ideal partner for those companies that intend to pursue important development and revitalization objectives, and who wish to undertake a path aimed at satisfying the customer from every point of view.

Luxury and comfort in the heart of the historic centre of Rome

Ciro Verrocchi, General Manager Bettoja Hotels Collection, tells the story of a family of hoteliers who have characterized the art of hospitality made in Italy for over 150 years.

It was 1875 when a family of Piemonte decided to buy the Massimo D’Azeglio Restaurant first, named in honor of the great Italian statesman, painter and writer, then the entire Via Cavour building, transforming it into a hotel: Hotel Massimo D’Azeglio. The expansion does not stop, in 1895 the neighbouring Hotel Mediterraneo and Hotel Atlantico entered the collection. Three prestigious structures strategically set in the heart of the historic center of Rome, in the area between Via Cavour and Via Amendola, a few steps from the Roma Termini railway station, in the heart of the Eternal City, a crossroads of culture, elegance and architectural beauties past; three four-star structures that mark the history of hospitality signed by Bettoja Hotels.

Studio Immagine, professionals of permanent makeup

0

The new beauty trend conquers an increasing number of women

Nowadays an increasing number of women decide to resort to permanent makeup for a need for aesthetics mixed with practicality: with this technique, in fact, we go to design and then tattoo on the face the basis of a daily make up, using biocompatible pigments to be inserted under the skin so that the result is durable over time. “The only imperative is, of course, to turn to expert hands, which guarantee the achievement of satisfactory results and reduce the risk of possible contraindications”, Serena Toscano, owner of the prestigious Studio Immagine di Roma, strongly asserts.

Serena Toscano, what does permanent makeup consist of?

Also known by the name of micro pigmentation, dermo pigmentation or semi-permanent tattoo, it is a procedure applied in the aesthetic field to hide small imperfections or asymmetries of the face, especially to define the shape of eyebrows, eyes and lips. The procedure involves the use of a device called a dermograph, able to make very small incisions under the skin, with extreme rapidity and without particular pain.

What is the difference between tattooing and permanent makeup?

The treatment, although it seems similar, is actually different in the application techniques, in the duration of the pigmentation and in the composition of the pigment. The colours used are exclusively bioabsorbable, tested and certified according to European standards. The duration of the trick is also limited in time, since the professional operator uses less stable colours, eliminable through the immune defenses of the individual (power of phagocytosis). This is the reason why the duration of the treatment is absolutely subjective, being closely linked both to the cell turnover and to the depth of the incisions.

She is a renowned professional in her field. The key to its success?

Experience, professionalism and ability to meet the needs of every single customer, each with his own personality, with his own different way of expressing femininity. But not only. Taking advantage of the precious collaboration of two experts in the field, Roberta Valentini and Cecilia Mezzanino, for years I offer personalized treatments of undisputed quality, establishing with my clients a relationship of trust, based on moral and intellectual honesty; an innate talent that drives me to direct my customers always to the right choice, with discretion and experience, without ever imposing my ideas. Over the last few years, Studio Immagine has become an important point of reference in the regional scene, also a leader in the training of other operators and in the research of important innovations to ensure safe products and more and more advanced execution techniques.

How was your passion for this work born?

My career path was born about 10 years ago, when my mother underwent a permanent make-up treatment, but unskilled operators mistaken her form and colour. I still remember his desperation to look in the mirror. When I was at home I often happened to stop behind the bathroom door and listen to her crying; despite my young age, I clearly perceived her difficulty in accepting a face that she no longer recognized. And so I decided to do something to restore the joy of living. So I began to attend the best professional academies: the more I trained, the more I wanted to increase my know-how. And I realized it to the point that I already started teaching at a regional school and at the prestigious Orsini & Belfatto professional academy, with whom I still work today. Along my professional path I managed to find a way to solve my mother’s problem, giving her her adorable smile back. Since then my working philosophy is to do everything possible to make my customers happy.

You eight years ago decided to devote yourself to vocational training, why?

Over time I have gained the awareness of having a particular predisposition to teaching. So I decided to become an important reference point for those who want to establish themselves in a sector where, due to high competitiveness, professionalism and specific skills are increasingly required. An expert and competent teacher must know how to transmit to his students the importance of some basic criteria, first of all the essential aesthetic sense – permanent makeup does not have to distort the features of the face but must exalt its most delicate beauty: the client looking at the mirror must see itself more beautiful, not different! My techniques, my skills and last but not least my passion for a profession that I love a lot, have trained many beauticians, girls who have come into play to find their own professional identity and that today, thanks to my highly qualified, have had their chance of success in life.

The new frontiers of dentistry

0

More and more sophisticated technologies allow the dentist to intervene with greater security and in a short time, increasing the percentage of successful performance.

As with every other aspect of our lives, technological innovation is rapidly changing the face of many professions, and medical technology is certainly no exception. In fact, computerized procedures, new materials and increasingly accurate diagnostic tools are opening the way to a series of previously unthinkable solutions, thanks to which patients can achieve truly extraordinary results. This speech, which applies to virtually all branches of medicine, and even becomes decisive in dentistry, for which technological innovation has really determined a revolution in the possibilities for intervention. In fact, very sophisticated techniques and technologies allow the dentist not only to intervene more safely, but also to reduce time and increase the success rate of the work done. “The intent is to offer dental services at a higher level than in the past and at low cost, not a secondary aspect in consideration of the economic difficulties that citizens / patients have been living for a long time” explains Dr. Claudio Cortesini, long-time dentist of the “Commissione Albo Odontoiatri Capitolina” and today one of the most ardent supporters of three-dimensional imaging.

Dr. Cortesini, what are the very latest frontiers of modern dentistry?

“The possibility of carrying out less invasive, safer and in much shorter time than in the past. The true watershed between traditional methods and new procedures is the so-called three-dimensional digital radiology, which offers the possibility of making a correct diagnosis at 360 degrees, with all the advantages that this entails. The acquisition of images through a 3SHAPE digital system, allows in fact to take perfect images and consequently create a prosthesis directly in the studio in a short time, or transfer the acquired images to a dental laboratory in case a more complex prosthesis is needed. All this happens thanks to computer technology. Devices that are certainly not born today, the first date back to 25 years ago, but now have reached a level of operation that ensures maximum reliability and accuracy. In fact, some companies have specialized, patenting a very elaborate digital system that allows to realize individual ceramic restorations in a single session. Furthermore, this technology makes it possible to use “metal free” materials for the realization of fixed prostheses, first of all the zirconium oxide. In this way we obtain an aesthetic advantage and the absence of free metal ions. The use of digital technology arises from the need in the dental office to acquire three-dimensional images and to translate these images into quality products, with advantages for both cultural and economic ones. To give an example with this technology we can photograph a tooth to be reconstructed, and once the three-dimensional image has been obtained, realize the missing part in about 30 minutes “.

But in this way the dentist does not replace the dental technician?

“It is true that with the CAD CAM the dentist performs some of the tasks entrusted to the dental technician, but ultimately I do not think we can think of a damage for the category. There was also a disputed resolution with an opinion from the Ministry that allowed dentists to use this technology. Moreover, one must never forget that there are many, but not infinite, things that can be done with digital. It is worthwhile, therefore, to dispel the myth for which the contribution of technology would have marked the sunset of professionalism such as those of the dental technician. And even less must we believe that this highly specialized figure can be replaced in the near future by automated systems, robots capable of operating completely autonomously, using only experts in computerized systems. Reasoning in these terms would mean in fact diminish the professionalism of dental technicians, whose experience remains essential for modeling ceramics for prostheses that exhibit a high complexity. The only real and certain assessment is that thanks to technological advances, there can be enormous benefits for patients. The percentage of therapeutic successes with 3D is superior compared to a two-dimensional dental x-ray because, with the three-dimensional, the professional can observe the tooth at 360 degrees, can detect anomalies between the teeth and save time making the job faster. Ultimately with this system, time and costs are reduced, despite having excellent quality “.

Condominial contracts such as avoiding problems

0

The Lawyer. Claudio Roscioni intervenes on the obligations of the condominium towards the employees of contractors.

The Condominium is often in difficulty with contractors due to problems concerning the exact fulfillment of the works commissioned to them. When the requested works are not in conformity with the c.d. “Rule of art”, we must resort to exhausting negotiations that, not always, lead to the desired result. However, it may happen that the payment due for the salaries of the employees of the contractor falls on the Condominium. If, in fact, the art. 1676 cod. civ. requires the client (the Condominium) to pay the employees of the company the salaries (or pay differences) due to them, but within the limits of the sums due to the company, as specified by the contract, the Legislative Decree 276/2003, as amended by L. 92/2012, establishes that the Condominium is obliged, jointly and severally with the company (employer) to pay compensation to the workers, including the shares of severance pay, not paid by the company, regardless of the price of the contract.

In essence, within two years of the completion of the restructuring, the Condominium may be called upon to pay the company’s employees all those emoluments not received during the period of the contract. The only way to avoid a condemnation in solidarity, is, therefore, to rely on serious companies, get the DURC and call a lawyer in the drafting of the contract in order to prevent unpleasant surprises.

When a child cannot be conceived naturally

0

The dott. Leonardo Rinaldi, Head of the One Day Medical Center in Rome, has a long experience in the field of medically assisted procreation.

Dr. Rinaldi, an increasing number of couples cannot conceive a child naturally and decides to resort to heterologous fertilization, a process that is not always easy but that today, thanks to the goals achieved in this field, offers greater chances of success than in the past?

Absolutely yes. A careful preliminary study of the genetic compatibility between the male partner and the donor further reduces the risks of an intervention whose success rates are high: nowadays 50% of women become pregnant from the first attempt of heterologous fertilization. The donation of oocytes, once again possible in Italy thanks to the ruling 162/2014 of the Constitutional Court, thus makes possible the miracle of life in women who would otherwise be destined not to have children.

One Day Medical Center is an important reference point for many infertile couples. What are its strengths?

High standards of assistance and greater success rates are certainly the main reasons that push many couples to turn to our experience. But not only. A multidisciplinary and highly specialized medical / biological team, a technologically advanced laboratory, a precious partnership with the best Spanish egg cell bank, a scrupulous selection of donors and the search for customized solutions make the Center an important point of reference at the national level, able to provide couples desiring to have a child comprehensive medical, human and psychological assistance.

Increase dialogue between banks and businesses

0

This is stated by Claudio Patalano, CEO of Patalano & Associati (P & A), a consulting firm specializing in banking and finance, which for years has been supporting the business world in development projects and not only

Dott. Patalano, knowing the functioning of the banks helps to create value also for entrepreneurs, often in trouble?

Today more than ever, it is necessary to raise the quality of the interlocution between bank and company, whose relationship can be an opportunity or a threat to both. The bank may refuse financial support if it does not include the company’s project and, conversely, the latter may not understand the bank’s need for risk management or not adequately meet its information expectations. Hence the triggering of a vicious circle that generates the default for the company, for the bad loans bank and for the company, loss of wealth / employment.

Is the need to raise the bank-business dialogue linked to financial discipline?

Yes. The bank’s risk management strategy is increasingly defined in the European supervisory rules. In the years spent in the inspection body of the Bank of Italy (1972) and subsequently in BNL for the management of the Affaire Atlanta (1990) and in the liquidation Sicilcassa (1998), I gained the conviction that those who have constant professional relationships with the Banks is in a privileged position, for knowledge and skills, in achieving an effective operational dialogue between bank and company.

What do you mean?

In the definition of problematic positions, “corporate homicides” should be avoided and defined as solutions with a high professional content. In this sense, the P & A has completed major restructuring of credit exposures of groups in default through the establishment of alternative real estate investment funds or loans, allowing the continuation of business ventures and the better protection of banks’ credit reasons. For this reason, P & A has always invested in specialist skills (Government & Control Systems, Private & Corporate Finance, Assessment, Turnaround), achieving reliable, often innovative solutions.

LASER IN GYNECOLOGY

0

An effective and current therapy for the treatment of various diseases and that does not require any type of anesthesia. This is illustrated by Prof. Carmelo Parisi, Obstetric Gynecologist

The laser is now widely used in gynecological practice, being particularly effective in the treatment of various diseases, such as the related HPV and vulvovaginal atrophy secondary to menopause. To illustrate the advantages of this innovative, safe and effective therapy is Prof. Carmelo Parisi, Obstetrical Gynecologist of Rome.

Prof. Parisi, what are the advantages of laser surgery in the treatment of HPV?

HPV is a disease related to the human papillomavirus that, in its various forms (condylomatosis and dysplasia of the cervix), can cause various lesions in the lower female genital tract. The laser can be used to destroy the lesion or to remove it, making possible a subsequent histological examination. The treatment, performed on an outpatient basis under colposcopic control, guarantees a remarkable precision with minimal damage to the tissues surrounding the lesion and a rapid re-epithelisation of those involved. It can also be used for the treatment of the male partner.

And in the case of vulvovaginal atrophy?

Vulvovaginal atrophy is a very common condition after menopause, due to the disappearance of estrogen hormones. The main symptom is vaginal dryness but can be associated with other symptoms that make sexual approach very difficult and sometimes impossible. The goal of therapy is to restore genital tropism, to preserve sexual function, and to prevent and treat infections. The end result is a turgid and hydrated vaginal mucosa; a real “genital rejuvenation” with all the characteristics of a trophic tissue and in a state of well-being, similar to that of the premenopause. The operation is performed in the clinic, does not require any type of anesthesia, is absolutely painless and has no side effect.
