Since its inception in 2005 the Consortium Interprovincial Eco-Environmental Transport CITE deals with issues related to the proper management of waste in line with increasingly complex and articulated environmental legislation, pursuing the objective of promoting sustainable development of its production activities. From the headquarters of Salerno, offers its customers a full range of services, from collection to the disposal of urban waste / special and hazardous, from the design of industrial plans to the supply of equipment and materials for urban hygiene. Thanks to the twenty-year experience gained in the sector and the highly qualified staff, over the last few years the Consortium, integrated into a network of highly specialized companies in the treatment and recycling of materials, has conquered important market niches, significantly infusing its customer base and becoming one of the most important leaders in the environmental sector. Dott.ssa Gallo, what does sustainable development mean for a production company such as CITE which has its roots in the world of waste and environmental advice?
It means promoting actions of operational intervention on environmental liabilities compatible with the protection of the territory and natural resources, in a shared vision of local sustainability. Not surprisingly, for several years the Consortium has been committed to promoting a proper environmental awareness of citizens, with incentive plans to raise awareness designed according to different reference targets.
What are the strengths of the Consortium?
Thanks to the use of latest generation technologies applied to the urban hygiene sector and to a highly specialized management, the Consortium has achieved significant results in terms of percentage of separate waste collection, exceeding in some cases even 73% in some of the many municipalities managed.
