MICHELE RAMAGLIA A NEW FILTERING DEVICE FOR CORONAVIRUS

A NEW FILTERING DEVICE FOR CORONAVIRUS

Following the outbreak of the Coronavirus emergency, air filtration systems are becoming increasingly important to protect public health and consequently improve the quality of work environments.

Engineer Michele Ramaglia, shareholder of Adiramef S.r.l. – a Campana company highly specialized in the technical assistance of electromedical, electrical and electronic equipment in the healthcare, industrial, and services sectors, as well as in the design, construction and maintenance of latest generation technological systems and in the design and construction of medical devices – has recently designed an air treatment device called (CD 19-23) capable of destroying Covid-19 and any other pathogen. L’Adiramef S.r.l. after carrying out careful studies with its designers, to treat air of air conditioning systems already in operation, not being able to use additional traditional mechanical filters (ULPA / HEPA) that would drastically reduce the efficiency of the systems themselves, he designed and implemented a system trap filtering, non-mechanical, along the current of the air flow, to destroy all pathogens.

by Roberta Imbimbo

Ing. Ramaglia, can you tell us about this new filtering device called CD 19-23?

Following the request of one of our customers, of national importance, for the plant redevelopment of premises to be used for intensive care for the construction of a COVID ward, I asked myself the problem of how to treat the quality of the air expelled from an environment contaminated. Once I found the solution, I shared it with the client with whom I investigated the issue together with virologists and colleagues from the Istituto Superiore di Sanità.

To destroy the Coronavirus and any other type of pathogen, without modifying the existing systems in hospitals, and more generally in all air treatment systems for strictly controlled contamination environments, it was necessary to study and design a treatment system specific without mechanical filters (type ULPA / HEPA) on the expulsion of the air, so that the latter could introduce clean and uncontaminated air into the atmosphere.

Most hospitals, on the other hand, have a ventilation system that filters the air only during the intake phase. In my opinion, the problem that has arisen in many hospitals in Lombardy, the region in which the highest number of infections have occurred since Covid-19, is essentially attributable to the following important factors:

probably and almost certainly due to inadequate air changes in ICU environments;
probably due to the lack of negative pressure filter areas that prevent the escape of contaminated air outside the environments where there are patients;
systems probably not with all primary air, but with recirculation;
air recovery systems from contaminated environments, which emit air into a free atmosphere, and many times in technical areas on the terraces of buildings, adjacent to the recovery of other air treatment systems for other departments, causing a cascade contamination, throughout the structure hospital (wards, corridors, lobbies, halls, but also external areas such as pedestrian walkways inside the structures and underground parking) served by the aeraulic systems themselves;
lack or misuse of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment);
poor maintenance of the aeraulic systems;
promiscuous intensive care units;
clean and dirty paths not well separated;
promiscuous first aid acceptances.
Our design work was born, therefore, from the need to respond to the requests of those hospital realities that wanted to modify their systems, making them decidedly safer.

Therefore we avoided the use of mechanical filters that would have resulted in large pressure drops.

A series of traps has been created for the treatment of air flow without mechanical obstacles, capable of adequately treating the expelled air, thus destroying all the pathogens contained therein.

Specifically, what does this set of traps consist of?

The CD 19–23 system (name attributed in patent application No. 202020000001318) is divided into three sections (Trap A, UV-C Filter; Trap B, Electrostatic Filter and Trap C, Thermal Filter which can range from 40 to 100 degrees centigrade): the cascade use of these traps – correctly correlated to the flow rate and flow rate – by acting on DNA, RNA, SPIN and Thermolability, allows the molecular destruction of the Virus. These traps hit the fluid (air) with strong doses of UV-C light, massive electrostatic fields and lethal doses of heat. To certify the richies

ECOZONE, THE NEW SOLUTION AGAINST BACTERIA AND VIRUS

Profound knowledge of the market, great competence and reliability in the creation of highly innovative devices and perfect combination of technology and functionality: these are the distinctive features of Brentareno Srl, – a streamlined and dynamic company based in Asolo, in the province of Treviso – which after having affirmed its leadership in the industrial laundry sector, for about five years has decided to expand its core business, specializing in sanitation. Marzio Klos, Commercial Director of the company, tells us about the commitment of this Group in the design and development of Ecozono, a highly innovative equipment capable of quickly, economically and effectively sanitizing any material, thus managing to guarantee the hygienic safety necessary to reduce contamination by viruses and bacteria. A prerogative of no small importance at the time of the Coronavirus.

by Roberta Imbimbo

Dr. Klos, can you tell us the story of this successful entrepreneurial reality?

Brentareno is a story of family, passion and tradition: it was 1978 when Mariangela Albrizio and Simone Klos began their climb in the world of industrial laundry, with the aim of reaching increasingly ambitious goals. But it is only with the advent of the second generation that the decisive turning point arrives: a few months after the tragic death of my mother Mariangela, which took place on January 28, 1998, I decide to follow in her footsteps. In 1999 I first started my full-time sales career: the market is growing rapidly and the results are not long in coming. In 2000, after years of intense work, I finally managed to found a leading company in the sector of design and production of machinery in the laundry sector, and in the construction and assistance of systems for self-service laundries, laundries and industrial ironing rooms, for hotels, Communities and Bodies, both public and private. Thanks to my many years of experience, in a short time Brentareno Srl knows an exponential growth, which allows it to conquer important market niches (to date there are more than 3,500 customers worldwide) and to increase its credibility both nationally and international.

With the aim of broadening your horizons, in 2015 you designed and produced an extremely innovative sanitizing booth. Can you tell us about it?

Thanks to the adoption of the latest generation technologies and huge investments made to develop research in the sector, Brentareno Srl has designed and produced Ecozono, a sanitizing cabin entirely Made in Italy, able to quickly and effectively remove bad odors and sanitize any material, eliminating mold, bacteria, mites and viruses. It is an extremely advanced, completely hermetic machine, created to meet the sanitation needs of all those realities that, especially in light of the recent Coronavirus pandemic, must necessarily guarantee their customers high hygiene standards, such as hotels and restaurants ( Ho.Re.Ca), nursing homes, hospitals, gyms, traditional and self-service laundries. As its name suggests, Ecozono is a device that exploits ozone, a natural gas composed of trivalent oxygen (O3), one of the most effective agents for sanitizing environments and fabrics (even those that cannot be washed or dry nor in water). To make this molecule particularly useful in sanitizing interventions is its oxidizing power thanks to which it is able to degrade polluting and bacterial elements in a completely natural and ecological way (after use, in fact, the ozone does not leave residual chemical traces and is converted in pure oxygen). Moreover, being heavier than air, this natural gas is able to penetrate perfectly into the fibers of the fabrics and those objects that are difficult to wash such as masks (the optional MASK sanitizes over 20 thousand a day), mattresses, cushions, rugs, carpets, impossible to thoroughly sanitize with a classic traditional wash, however meticulous and accurate it is. Ecozono, however, is not only a cabin that can be used for sanitizing: it is, in fact, an innovative appliance that can also act against odors, removing them completely from any fabric.

Launching this new device has proved to be a winning and visionary strategy, in light of recent events. How is the market reacting today?

Thanks to the very high and absolutely certified efficacy of its machinery, even before the outbreak of the pandemic from Covid-19, Brentareno had become an important reference point not only at national but also international level, managing to increase the exports of prop

Daisy Beauty, a new way of understanding beauty!

“The power of ideas always creates winning projects. As well as the courage to cultivate one’s passions, although this perseverance sometimes involves enormous sacrifices ”. Thus began the interview with Carmela Fusco, owner of the Daisy Beauty Center in Naples, a true temple of beauty designed for the psycho-physical well-being of its customers.

Carmela, can you tell us your story?

Since I was a child I kept a dream in the drawer: to have a future as an entrepreneur in the vast and articulated world of aesthetics. A dream that I wanted to achieve at all costs, despite the many difficulties encountered and painstakingly overcome along my professional path, also coming to firmly oppose my mother who, for her part, nourished the desire for me to finish high school. But you know, cultivating your passions is essential to feeling satisfied! And the day I realized my biggest dream, that of having my own beauty center, I managed to make sense of my life, which finally shouted happiness, serenity, contentment and success.

What does your beauty ethic consist of?

My beauty ethic consists in listening carefully to the needs of my customers, in having their aesthetic aspect at heart, welcoming them in a comfortable and familiar environment. It is a great responsibility that I have towards people, I am aware of it and for this reason, in the exercise of my profession, I always try to pay the utmost attention, well aware that the quality of the services offered is a great added value. I studied a lot to get to offer the best, attending prestigious academies, such as the Sirio Aja di Cira Guarino and the Accademia di Liliana Paduano, universally recognized as excellence in the sector. And after years of studies and apprenticeships, today I can finally say that I have created a highly appreciated Aesthetic Center, able to offer professional and quality treatments.

What did you specialize in?

At my center you can take advantage of a wide range of face and body treatments: basic aesthetics (pedicures, manicures, waxes, make-up and massages), advanced aesthetics, definitive laser hair removal and pressure therapy. Among the most requested facial treatments, the Needling stands out, a sort of non-surgical lifting, particularly useful for the rejuvenation of the facial skin and for the treatment of wrinkles, blemishes and scars. By using a particular serum based on bee venom, it is in fact able to increase the production of collagen and elastin, giving brightness and firmness to the skin. Microblading is also in great demand, allowing you to have perfectly sculpted and thickened eyebrows, using semi-permanent tattoos with extraordinary and very natural results.

But, of course, we have many other important news for our friends, because Daisy Beauty wants to satisfy their every desire!

The brain of adolescents is neurobiologically different from that of an adult

“Some teenagers appear irresponsible, superficial and disobedient, but in reality the cause of their attitudes is to be found in the brain evolution in which they are involved and which is still in progress, in being, in becoming in them. And, like every becoming, theirs too is changeable, iridescent, even tormented ”. Thus began the exciting interview with dr. Sebastiano Vaia, owner of the Vaia Napoli Neurodiagnostic Institute accredited with the NHS. Professor of General Psychology at the Faculty of Education Sciences, former Professor of Fundamentals of Neuroscience at the International Center for Strategic Psychotherapy in Salerno, during his long professional activity, dr. Vaia has gained great interest in this highly topical issue.

Dr. Vaia, in what sense is the brain of adolescents neurobiologically different from that of an adult?

In the sense that their thoughts, actions and decisions are often dictated by their emotional and emotional side. Which would seem almost downright romantic if it didn’t end up being too often dangerous. Their idea of fun essentially coincides with that of overcoming the limit, of irrationality, of total negation of the rules. The consumption of alcohol and drugs, the sense of danger understood as a sense of challenge and useless risk, their explosive energy without certain direction and the excessive aggression that punctually follows, complete a picture essentially summarized in the absence of that exquisite form of wisdom which is the ability to measure strength. And therefore for them it is even more difficult, for example, to adapt to public health measures conceived exceptionally in these days of Coronavirus emergency. This is because, to a still dangerous biological structure, there is also a great emotional fragility.

Still, their enthusiasm would be an enormous resource if well addressed.

Absolutely yes. Too many times, however, it is lost, even for lack of teachers or willingness to listen to them. And the role of adults is precisely this, and it is a role that the adolescent at most refuses, while requesting and demanding their presence. He rejects it in the name of his disproportionate will to power, and therefore of intolerance against schemes, channels, protocols, modalities; he demands it in the name of the principle of authority, which he invokes as a secure border, paternal and maternal embrace, a protected riverbed, and at the same time as a demiurge, an ordering element and therefore of relief, of serenity, of unloading. Our presence will therefore be requested but criticized, requested without resulting in gratitude and criticized with harsh judgment. As tiring as it may be, we have to resist and choose to be their sailing companions in such a vast and procellious sea. We must stay by their side, listen to their music, share thoughts and be there in their time; and then leave them the right spaces by choosing them ourselves wisely, on the basis of the tests to which we consider them ready or of the failures to which we intend to expose them for their own good and which we think may prove functional to their evolution. They are in fact rare nantes in vast gurgitis, and so they appear, perhaps so they feel – rare in the sense of lost – until then they find the right path.

Antonio Salerno

Professionalism, experience and reliability: these are the hallmarks of the Salerno Law Firm for over 20 years highly specialized in providing advice and assistance to managers, teachers, ATA staff and to all those involved, in any capacity, in education disputes. Since 2000 Antonio Salerno, a brilliant lawyer from Salerno, has in fact begun to deal with the litigation of the “world” of the School, where over time, extending and expanding his skills to further legal and civil law aspects, he has focused his attention professional sponsoring and representing the interests of its clients throughout the national territory, offering qualified assistance even in higher jurisdictions.

Avv. Salerno, tell us your story. How did your passion for this profession come about?

I am a son of 1970, born in Salerno, and before the Advocacy my great passion was sporting activity which played a decisive role in the formation of my personality, since it helped me develop and refine numerous qualities. Above all, the ability to face and overcome difficulties, the attitude to collaborate and “team up” with others, the awareness of one’s skills and a winning mindset. I was an athlete of national interest of the Italian Fencing Federation and this discipline has given me enormous and unforgettable satisfactions. Among others, I graduated Italian individual champion in the Under 20 Sword in 1987 in Foggia, I climbed several times on the podium in national events (the most important remains a Bronze Medal won by the Team Absolute Tricolors) and twice I was among the players called up for the World Junior Championships. For two years I competed under the colors of the sports group Fiamme Oro of the State Police and for several seasons I was instructor of numerous athletes. Sports passion, which has been an important training ground for me, has always gone hand in hand with my professional vocation, which brought me closer to the world of law from a very young age. With one goal: to be a good lawyer, a mission that requires commitment, perseverance and above all passion. In order to better defend the rights of each client, it is in fact important to know how to manage one’s work as a real life philosophy, a mission to carry on with heart, commitment and dedication in any legal advice. And that’s what I’ve been doing for over 20 years now!

You have always had an exquisitely administrative training, taking care, before the competent regional TAR or the Council of State, of the most disparate matters pertaining to the administrative judge. Then, in the continuation of his training, he decided to devote himself specifically to the school world. Because?

For a series of crossings, over time I have preferred to sectorise my work, becoming an important national reference point as regards the disputes in the school world, which have increased dramatically in recent years. However, a premise appears necessary. With the notorious Law 107, the Renzi government intended to carry out a significant reform in the great universe of the school: it was a real revolution – a new approach to the way of seeing the world of education which, however, has generated many disagreements – aimed at giving a clear turn to school precariousness thanks to the recruitment of “fresh” teachers ready to meet the needs of the school of the future. Already previously, the European Court of Justice had substantially censored the Italian administration’s work for abuse of recourse to fixed-term contracts beyond a certain period of time (the famous 36 months), thus violating the rights of school workers. The so-called law of the Good School of Renzi, therefore, was born precisely from the need to block as many precarious historians as possible (about 55 thousand) in order to comply with the judgment of the judges of Strasbourg.

What was the 2018 maxi-appeal you sponsored?

Immediately after the 2015 Law, the State began to ban sequential bankruptcy procedures, committing, in my opinion, a serious evaluation error since today there is a very large category of teachers who are still placed in the notorious Exhaustion Rankings (GAE) , from which the state could draw highly qualified personnel, instead of annually announcing bankruptcy procedures. Among these, the one of 2018 stands out, a so-called Competition Pure Simplified, reserved only for teachers qualified for teaching and / or specialized in support, against which there have been a myriad of appeals mostly by non-qualified graduates and ITP teachers. Personally, I represented about six thousand people, before the TAR and the Council of State, who claimed the right to participate in this simplified competition, to then be able to access the world of school. What we questioned was the exclusivity of the procedure which, as such, violates the concept of public competition (specifically, articles 3, 51 and 97, last paragraph of the Constitution, would be violated). Our recursive action was unfortunately nipped: the Constitutional Court intervened on this point, which declared legitimate the mechanism for recruiting personnel reserved exclusively for only one category (teachers qualified for the profession!), As it is linked to extraordinary needs , such as that of consolidating specific professional skills already operational within the Administration itself.

An appeal that had a different outcome was that of recruiting “discontinuous” Firefighters. Can you tell us about it?

Yes, on that occasion the Council of State accepted the appeal promoted by my Firm by ordering the admission of my client to the competition aimed at the defined stabilization of the “discontinuous” Firefighters, that is, of those voluntary policemen who should intervene only in cases of absolute exceptionality, exceptionality that has become the practice. Discontinuities have in fact become permanently incorporated subjects, who receive a paycheck with the same duties as the vigilant regulations hired. And so, the College shared the complaints promoted by my Firm with the specific aim of highlighting on the one hand the perpetrated abuse of the category of “discontinuous” and on the other the unreasonableness of a selection competition based on different physical fitness parameters and more stringent (DM 78/2008) than those (DM 05.02.2020) used for discontinuous, specious and illegitimate activities.

Projects?

Many, such as the opening of new offices, the prompt choice of the high number of disputes and customers distributed throughout the Peninsula and new approaches to the world of law with a scientific method.

Covid-19 and sanitizing environments: what risks and what prospects?

Born in Bologna in 1997 over the years Gico Systems has become a national reference point thanks to its Divisions of Pest Control and Safety & Vertical Solutions. At the headquarters in Bologna, we met the General Manager, Dr. Stefano Guerzoni and the Technical Director, Dr. Michele Ruzza.

by Roberta Imbimbo

Dr. Guerzoni, does the sector arrive prepared to respond professionally to such a strong demand for intervention in the workplace?

We are undoubtedly faced with an unprecedented emergency in recent history, which requires an immediate response, aimed not only at containing the emergency itself but also at concretely promoting, in the more or less near future, the restart of work and production activities , ensuring full safety and correct sanitization of the workplace. At the same time, it is necessary to guarantee the country an adequate industrial response, to make a service particularly useful in the fight against Covid-19 increasingly efficient and effective. In this first emergency phase, to respond to the needs of a market in constant turmoil, a large number of operators, more or less organized, were found unable to ensure qualified and compliant services: just think of those who mistakenly use automatic devices to ozone production, without these being actually indicated as suitable for combating the spread of the virus. Fortunately, professional operators will already guarantee the necessary efficiency (service at the correct price), efficacy (effective utility) and guarantee (certification of processes and products) from the next few months. And in this perspective, Gico Systems is definitely a step ahead of the competition, thanks to the professionalism and experience of a highly qualified group and the cutting-edge technologies used in the various work processes. The other competitive advantage is in the ability to respond to customer needs within 24 hours throughout the country.

Dr. Ruzza, from a technical point of view, what are the procedures followed by Gico Systems?

We immediately moved carefully following the guidelines of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDP of 18 February 2020), the World Health Organization and the Istituto Superiore di Sanità. These documents and the provisions included therein represent the real watershed between the professional operator and the rest of the market. Another of our added value is undoubtedly the possibility of issuing a certification attesting to the structured and organized approach to the management of company processes and the active ingredients used, aimed at guaranteeing the highest quality standards. Not surprisingly, in the last few weeks, we have refined all the procedures applicable to the various sectors (Offices and Professional Studies, Large-scale Organized Distribution, Industry, Logistics, corporate fleets, Aeraulic Plants) in order to offer our national and international customers a service highly customized, based on their specific needs!

SERGIO DI MEO THE COST OF WORK IN ITALY

0

THE COST OF WORK IN ITALY

Labor, which plays a very important role in the functioning of the global economy, represents a cost for companies which includes not only the wages paid to workers, but also the social contributions paid by the employer, the accruals of thirteenth and fourteenth monthly and severance pay and any other amount related to the job. It is therefore one of the main determining factors of the competitiveness of companies, however also influenced by the entrepreneurial spirit, labor productivity, innovation and the positioning of the company brand on the market. In Italy, labor costs are one of the most expensive in Europe and the size of the tax wedge remains a strong obstacle to the growth and competitiveness of businesses, to the development of investments and to the expansion of employment. “For these reasons, taxation at work must be reduced, starting with the component attributable to employees: with heavier pay slips, in fact, it is possible to reactivate household consumption considerably and boost economic growth”, Sergio di Meo emphasizes emphatically. well-known accountant from Aversa, particularly qualified in employment and legal consultancy for Italian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

by Roberta Imbimbo

Dr. Di Meo, what is the situation of labor costs in Italy today?

The cost of labor in Italy is among the highest in Europe. For Italian companies, in fact, this item erodes a large part of disposable income, much more than it does in large European economies, such as Germany, France, and Spain. As noted by Eurostat, in our country, the incidence of non-wage costs – i.e. social contributions paid by employers – is equal to 27.5% of the total labor cost. This makes Italy less competitive than other countries. In the United Kingdom and France, for example, the sum between contributions paid by the worker and the company is similar, but the tax levy is decidedly lower and wages are undoubtedly higher: consequently there is a greater propensity to consume and save . The comparison with Spain sees a similar income tax, but a lower impact of the cost component related to contributions. Only in Italy, therefore, is there a very wide distance between income received by the worker and costs incurred by the employer, which penalizes both consumption and the competitiveness of the companies themselves. It is no coincidence that in the last ten years, it has always been the last among industrialized countries: the high cost of labor for Italian companies, in addition to representing an important brake on employment, often becomes an incentive for undeclared work.

What can be done concretely to reduce labor costs?

In my opinion, an adequate development policy is urgently needed to relaunch the competitiveness of Italian companies; an ad hoc law for the South, which provides tax breaks and relief for new hires (and not only for young people, women and over 50, as required by current legal provisions). With the entry into force of the Law of 2 May 1976, n 183, which provided for ten-year tax breaks for companies in the South that employed employees, there was a huge boom in hiring, with a consequent considerable tax impact for the State and a drastic reduction of undeclared work. The last law that favored Italian companies (and which led to strong employment growth) was undoubtedly the n. 407/90 which, in art. 8 paragraph 9, provided for special tax breaks for a period of 36 months in favor of employers who hired workers with an open-ended contract (also part-time) for at least 24 months. The repeal of this law severely penalized the South, where employers were able to access a 100% contribution relief from the date of hiring. To restore vigor to growth and jobs, the government needs to act on factors that inhibit hiring workers and improve the economic environment in which national companies operate.

To improve this context, it is also necessary to combat undeclared work. Budget law 2019 provided for a tightening of sanctions, right?

Exactly. The high labor costs in Italy lead many companies not to regularize their employees. However, this practice can be very risky both for the safety of workers and for the very heavy penalties that could be incurred. In this regard, art.1 paragraph 445 of the Budget Law 2019 n.145 has tightened the sanctioning system by increasing all the sanctions by 20%, thus bringing the maximunition on illegal work to € 1,800.00 for each worker not in compliance with the companies.

The negative consequences of undeclared work are in fact not only linked to the non-tax revenue for the state coffers, but also to the deleterious effects that affect the healthy system of the companies that produce respecting the rules. In fact, the many artisan and commercial companies that suffer from unfair competition from entrepreneurs who do not scruple to use irregular workers lose out. The latter, in fact, since they are not subject to social security, insurance and tax contributions, allow companies where they serve, to benefit from a much lower labor cost and, consequently, to practice a much lower final price of the product or service. compared to those who comply with the provisions of the law.

Doctor, changing the subject, the current Coronavirus emergency requires a reflection on social safety nets, which never as at this time become even more indispensable in order not to let millions of people fall into economic anguish, in addition to health. Are you of this opinion?

A premise appears necessary. Among the support measures for companies and workers contained in the decree-law 18/2020, called the Cura Italia decree, there is the possibility of accessing, with a simplified procedure, the ordinary layoffs, the FIS and the exemption layoffs. The problem of AA.SS. in Italy it is linked to bureaucracy and the authorization mechanism by the INPS which provides times ranging between 50/60 days for the delivery of the treatment; times that severely penalize both companies and workers especially in this historical period where, with companies closed, workers find themselves without any form of income. A typically Italian paradox if you think that these measures have been launched precisely to meet families in difficulty!

The advantages of consensual separation

Spouses who intend to suspend or terminate the civil effects of marriage can opt for a consensual or judicial procedure. In the first case, they can agree on all matters relating to property, the maintenance of the weakest spouse and offspring, as well as the assignment of the marital home. Once the agreement has been reached, the spouses can appear before the Court in order to obtain the approval of what has been agreed. In the case of a judicial procedure, however, a real dispute similar to the ordinary process will open, at the end of which the Judge will issue the separation or divorce judgment. The lawyer intervenes on the subject Francesca Coppola, family law consultant.

by Roberta Imbimbo

Coppola lawyer, why should we reach an agreement and avoid the trial?

Because it is the form of legal separation certainly preferable not only for the imaginable minor conflict that normally arises between the spouses – however with significant positive effects also on the management of the relationship with any children – but also because it presents procedural forms definitely slimmer and faster. In 1973 Paul Bohannan elaborated six dimensions that involve the couple in the moment of separation or divorce: among these, the most influential ones are certainly the so-called “Emotional divorce” or the dissolution of the life project together and the frustration that follows, and the “economic divorce” understood as a change in social status capable of creating conditions of economic hardship. Considering both aspects, it is of fundamental importance to strive for a consensual termination of the marital relationship in order to avoid further exacerbating an already seriously compromised relationship, dragging the spouse into a dispute that can last even several years.

What are the economic benefits associated with this procedure?

As regards the transfer of real estate and movable property registered between the spouses, it is possible to take advantage of tax breaks if the transfer is expressly indicated in the consensual separation agreement. Indeed, once the homologation has been obtained by the Court, the spouses can present it to the Notary and proceed with the transfer of ownership; the only cost to be paid will be the notary’s fee. In the event of separation and judicial divorce, however, the unsuccessful party is ordered to pay all the court costs. More. Opting for a consensual procedure allows you to speed up the time and proceed with the divorce only six months after granting the approval of the separation. In the case of judicial separation, however, the time to obtain a divorce is extended to 1 year from the first Presidential hearing. Furthermore, for the closure of the process and therefore for the issuance of the separation sentence, there will be a waiting time of about 3 years, although fortunately by virtue of Law no. 55/2015 the dissolution of the legal community and the authorization to live separately take place already in the first Presidential hearing and no longer with a final judgment.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN THE HEALTH FIELD

0

IWS, a Business and Technology Consulting company, stands out in its strategy

IWS Consulting, a young and dynamic company that operates successfully in the ICT market, is at the forefront of investments in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence – says CEO Ettore Sangermano – not forgetting to make the most of people and business. Below the General Manager Andrea Capitani explains the applicability on projects dedicated to pharma and healthcare.

Is artificial intelligence applicable in the medical field?

Yes, absolutely, indeed I believe that the health field is among the most interesting not only for the complexity but also for the ethical implications that the same can have. To date, there are already many applications: from the identification of tumors, to their treatment, to the identification of primary and secondary risks but also telemedicine.

What is the new challenge for healthcare?

The Italian national health system is a source of pride at an international level, today it is severely tested by the public finances, by a crisis that continues. To be able to maintain an excellent system with reduced resources, it is necessary to optimize, cut waste, speed up processes, make everything more streamlined in order to adapt to the needs of patients and at the same time to the needs of hospital staff. In two words: machine learning.

An immediate challenge? What is boiling in your pot?

Very. Let’s talk about Triage and bed management. In part it seems an almost futuristic vision, but it is the present: imagine arriving at the emergency room and being taken care of immediately or having a complete screening in a very short time; the doctor is helped by the machines to rule out possible risks possibly linked to our particular and unique physical condition. He does it as if he has always followed us and always known us. More. If hospitalization is necessary, the search for the bed will be instantaneous and will not require long waits. The computer will immediately identify where we will be located and have already planned the presence of an ambulance for the possible transfer. All this only and exclusively with a wise and concrete use of the data that hospitals have available today. Artificial intelligence, in the variation of Machine Learning (i.e. machines capable of learning on their own based on previous results), is the tool that best allows you to predict future needs, the number of people in the emergency room, the type of cases combining them with the personal history of each of us so as to give timely and tailored answers. Minimize errors, improve service, cancel waste.

And the epidemics?

I would like to be optimistic: eradicate! Maybe too much, but artificial intelligence can really help us a lot. I start from this observation, today the categories at risk are the elderly and children. Very general, very broad categories, protecting them completely is expensive but also difficult. But the question we should ask is: who are we leaving behind? What category are we forgetting? Artificial intelligence can help us not only to exclude the most robust bands among those at risk, but also to identify almost punctually the people who may need pharmacological help even before an epidemic breaks out.

Pontano Institute the excellence of teaching in Campania

The excellence of teaching in Campania

In the beautiful Palazzo Spinelli di Cariati, an enchanting structure dating back to the sixteenth century, lives the Pontano Institute; a school of the Jesuit Education network that over the years has formed great personalities of excellence who have operated, and still work very actively, in the intelligentsia not only Neapolitan but also Italian. For over a century, for about 140 years, this wonderful institute of the Vittorio Emanuele Course in Naples has been involved in the training of young people through what is called the Cura Personalis, an Ignatia’s educational method that puts the focus of attention the pupil, his person, his uniqueness to extrapolate his potential, attitudes and passions, so that he can reach full awareness. “Taking care of young personalities who approach the world with curiosity and fear is a great responsibility, not only in their cultural and educational formation but also in the search for their human growth! This is why we must accompany them and support them with strength and understanding!” asserts Emma Armentano, Dean of the Institute.

Prof.  Armentano, what distinguishes the Pontano from other schools?

The Pontano has always been a vivid cultural center that, over the years, has hosted great personalities from the political, university, artistic and intellectual worlds with whom the children had the privilege of interacting both in curricular hours and extracurricular. Last November, for example, we organized a real symposium, called Domus Cura, which was attended by Sergio Costa, Minister of the Environment, and Father Jimmy Bartolo SJ, President of the Jesuit Education Foundation. In March, however, we will host Francesco Sabatini, honorary president of the Academy of the Crusader, to allow young people to talk with numerous prominent personalities who can help to increase their personal background, taking them far beyond the goal of academic excellence alone. All this takes place in an extremely serene and positive climate: the children perceive, in fact, to be part of a “great family” entrusted with the noble mission of preparing the pupils to meet the challenges they will face, with a strong and determined spirit , aware of its potential, able to develop an autonomous, critical and free thought.

How do you train your young people?

The training of future citizens takes place through the Personal Care, an Ignatian educational method that, by paying attention to the individual, consists of accompanying the student individually in his educational and educational path, motivating him and encouraging him into learning, initiating him to self-knowledge and gradually leading him towards self-assessment. The main means of implementing this educational method is the individual history, specifically provided for by the pedagogy of the schools of the Jesuit Education network. but also growth and guidance.

Can you tell us about the strengths of the Institute?

One of the main strengths is certainly the team, formed by Professor Veronica Petito on the mandate of the Jesuit Education Foundation, composed of teachers of undisputed human and professional qualities. A very united team, perfectly immersed in the network of Italian and foreign Ignatian schools, extremely convinced that they can make their contribution by embodying the Ignatian values in the teaching process. Values that aim at a teaching of excellence, discipline and to develop a strong critical spirit in the pupils. Another strong point is the close school-family synergy, a constant relationship of fruitful collaboration to ensure the support and support they need. The flagship of our school is also the Pontano Music Academy, chaired by Pasquale Antonio “Cicci” Serra and directed by Francesco Capriello; born with the aim of providing students with the means and knowledge necessary to cultivate their particular vocations in an increasingly mature and conscious way, it enhances musical study as an educational experience of the individual. It is a highly qualified academy, composed of masters and musicians of great talent of international level and that among other things often organizes important performances that see the participation of great guests.

Another peculiarity of yours is certainly knowing how to deal brilliantly with the current educational challenges that affect the school system, adequately welcoming pupils with “special” educational needs.

Exactly. The key to our educational success is integration, a great source of wealth to know different traditions and realities. Since our school is attended by students of different ethnicities and religions, one of our priority objectives is to help create the conditions for proper reception. A school that is a factor of social promotion, a harbinger of equal opportunities for all and really attentive to inclusion, able to welcome pupils who present particular fragility and to provide adequate answers to their difficulties.

The Pontano is a school that combines tradition and innovation. By focusing on this last point, can you tell us about the reforms you have made lately?

As you rightly said, the innovations of the Pontano are rooted in tradition: our idea of schooling is in fact to create a welcoming environment, in which children can receive 360-degree training, not only by studying but also taking care of other types of activities that are already in vogue: in fact, at the end of the lessons, you can take a course of theater, music, or practice different sports disciplines (the Pontano adheres to the MIUR platform for student athletes who practice the high-level sports for which personalised teaching courses are planned).
What exactly distinguishes the Pontano from the other schools? The Ignatian charisma, the welcome, the being able to dialogue with the pupil looking for the key of human and emotional contact, listening and observing before designing. Our school continues its history path thanks to Pasquale Antonio “Cicci” Serra, President of the CDA del Pontano and the LAUS Foundation, a strong and determined man who wanted to focus strongly on innovation in tradition: in his foresight he is in fact, he was able to create great cultural innovations, working with the Jesuit Movement and Action for Development (MAGIS) of the Society of Jesus: in this perspective, for example, the entire proceeds of the records produced by the Pontano Music Academy was donated to Jesuit missions in India and Africa, thus combining music and solidarity. The LAUS Foundation, for its part, offers scholarships to deserving students and in particular to those who are otherwise Neapolitan, as stated by President Serra himself, that is, to the deserving foreign children to whom the Foundation gives scholarships to make in so that they can attend Pontano, one of the most prestigious colleges here in Naples. An institution with 140 years of history behind it, but always looking to the future: in an increasingly interconnected world, in fact, it could not but open itself to the use of technologies in school, provided it is used in a conscious and productive way. What’s more, the Pontano has been a pioneer in the use of iPads in teaching, well aware that that learning accelerator, if properly used, not only allows to deepen knowledge, but also has an important role in training generations, encouraging the acquisition of digital skills that are fundamental in today’s life.

From this year she, formerly a professor of Latin and Greek and a writer, is at the head of a prestigious institute; what has inspired your career path all these years?

The firm belief that there is nothing more beautiful in the world than injecting knowledge into others, of elevating the minds of their pupils and making them aware and competent. Teaching is a truly extraordinary task, one that requires great energy and that can not ignore the fact that while teaching you can learn something. Seneca said, Homines dum docent discunt, or men as they teach, they learn: contact, exchange of words and glances with boys transmit emotions that nourish our thinking and our soul. I believe in the educational project that the Ignatius approach offers, such as the formation of values, an essential foundation for “proud” teenagers who here begin to build their future and we urge them to strive to always look up to become adults capable of doing great things but above all of loving, of being honest men and women. Parents entrust us with the most precious, most important thing they have, their children and then, imposing it is certainly, a serene context, in which great value is given to the acquisition of the knowledge that certain things, such as study, are not only a duty but a privilege , a privilege that is enucleous in an environment of emotionality and educational excellence.
