An ancient residence, completely immersed in a picturesque landscape of a thousand shades, which along the Golden Mile, once home to the splendid eighteenth-century Vesuvian villas, is enriched with vast gardens and pometres: Tenuta Villa Guerra offers unforgettable scenery, scents and colors intense in every season. Recently the historical and landscape richness of the place has been enriched by the creation of the Ristorante Josè, where the flavors of the tradition are enhanced by the creativity of the chef Domenico Iavarone. Refinement, genuineness and unmistakable flavors are qualities that can be rediscovered in this welcoming restaurant, located within the estate, strongly desired by the Confuorto family, determined to get involved to revive their territory of origin. Target? Propose the Mediterranean cuisine in the shadow of Vesuvius in an exclusive location. And with the starred chef from Campania Domenico Iavarone, born in 1982, he hit the mark. Careful researcher of genuine products and deep territorial roots, the chef proposes a kitchen with a continuous reference to the table at home, with reinterpretations of popular dishes of ancient origin. To complete the work the room service, coordinated by Enrico Moschella, who with his professionalism is able to create a warm, familiar and welcoming atmosphere.

Chef Iavarone, how was your kitchen born?

My cuisine comes from a careful selection of raw materials and a passion for the local culinary tradition, revisited in a contemporary way with a touch of creativity. The strong rooting of the territory and the profuse care in the selection and cultivation of the products are enhanced through unique recipes of their kind; recipes with an extraordinarily simple taste but, at the same time, authentic and inimitable. Our territory, with a part the Vesuvius from the other the gulf of Naples, offers the possibility to choose between quality ingredients, both sea and land, which make the menu extremely versatile.

Josè Maria Guidone, what are the strengths of Tenuta Villa Guerra?

Suggestive scenographies, passion, professionalism and warm welcome. Our goal is to make our guests live moments of intense pleasure, the rediscovery of the aromas and flavors of the past, where the bond with the earth and its roots is strongly felt. Our goal is to make our guests feel at home, in an atmosphere of total relaxation, tasting excellent dishes.
